School, sports & camp physicals

A physical exam is often required before your child attends school or camp, or before participating in a sport. This exam aims to ensure your child can safely participate in the activity in question without endangering himself or others. These exams can also provide opportunities to identify potentially serious underlying health concerns.

Novant Health Steelecroft Pediatrics completes school, camp and sports physicals for children of all ages. These exams can often be completed during the same visit as your child's annual checkup. If more testing is required or if a separate appointment is needed, you might be responsible for an additional charge.
